One evening my son asked me what exactly our company did and on the spur of the moment I answered, "We tell stories." Not bad.

Every company has a story to tell. Every prospect has a need to fill. We match your story to their need and good things happen. How we tell our clients' stories is what makes our business so much fun.

Here's our story ...

In 1998 we hung a sign announcing Spaner Marketing Communications World Headquarters on my basement door and went into business. Our most tangible asset was my 27 years worth of experience in advertising and marketing communications.

Today we are an entire team of darn good professionals skilled in communications planning, art, copywriting, media planning, public relations and web programming. We work for a growing list of clients out of a beautifully restored old tudor home a short walk from Canton's downtown cultural center. We help our clients tell selling stories for everything from miniature thermal controls to adult education programs. We also present those stories using a number of innovative strategies and media.

At the heart of our efforts is a belief that good advertising helps people learn something meaningful to their lives. Our ongoing exploration into how people learn has a dramatic impact on the ideas we develop for clients. It also led to the development of a unique marketing strategy we call "Applied Learning."
